EnCompass leadership implemented curriculum, built classroom and school-wide instructional practices, created intervention opportunities, and devised programs (e.g., the EnCAS) that were intentionally designed to accelerate the learning of different student subgroups, to close achievement gaps, and to create more equitable conditions for learning. Example: ELD/AED/GATE classes for all students; ELA intervention classes for students in grades 1st to 3rd; math intervention classes for students in grades 4 and 5.
